Time: 30-60min

1st. The coloring:
Lightly sketch out the ballerina. I usually did a few rough sketches on scratch paper before getting it right. You can also print out the image I have here and use it as a guideline to copy or trace.

Note: I traced this photo in photoshop so you could actually see the sketch.

With the sharpie outline her face and body that won't be colored in as shown:
(Sorry it's sideways!)

With the golden pen draw in some bangs sparingly. It doesn't look good when it's overdone and you can always add more gold after the brown. Do the gold to the ponytails after you do the brown.

Next, color in her leotard with the pink marker and the straps with the pink pencil. Here's where you should make sure to erase some pencil markings because it will be seen through the light pink.

2nd. The Tutu:
Trace the tutu onto a piece of fabric. Make two more, each one after getting smaller. This part doesn't have to be perfect; I left mine messy and it looked like it was done so on purpose. Apply a small amount of glue onto the tutu of the actual card, and, using a paintbrush, even it out because it will go through the sheer otherwise. Layer the three pieces on top of each other, applying a new layer of glue each time.

3rd. The glitter and bow:

Use your gluestick to make a coat of glue around her. Make sure to go over the same area a few times to make sure the glitter will stay. Pour a substantial amount of glitter onto the card then dump the excess onto a different piece of paper.

Lastly is the bow. Make a bow out of your chosen string then make it smaller my tightening it. Using any type of glue (I used a glue gun), apply the bow accordingly:

Annddddd finally:
